Hard to tell if David Deno is an improvement. His history seems mixed to me. That's still an improvement over Julie Feiss, who came in like a bull in a china shop to break everything."Cracker Barrel’s woke executive is being fired after nearly destroying the brand with a horrible rebranding attempt:Cracker Barrel announced on Monday that CEO Julie Masino will step down, effective Aug. 10, and be replaced by David Deno."https://x.com/alphafox/status/2081739159459291300https://nitter.poast.org/alphafox/status/2081739159459291300

@weeniewawa @Dan_Ramos It took them entirely too long to be of any benefit. The old Cracker is toast.

@JimmyWalnuts @weeniewawa There's a chance.. it's slim.If they want a fast comeback, they already did a few things that help and removing the CEO that broke everything is a good start. They need to predominantly sell USA-made goods and promote Americana the way they used to and the way companies generally used to. They would be the rare one today. They really should have done this IMMEDIATELY and should never have destroyed the peg company in the USA that provided them with the peg games.

@JimmyWalnuts Not nearly enough and certainly not in a place that LOOKS like Americana culture and history the way classic Cracker Barrel looks. They should make it their gimmick. A lot of businesses aren't promoting it as much as you're making it sound like they are, at least not from my browsing around through the stores. Most of the time, even when it's American made, they rarely seem to point it out.I miss the old 80s commercials, "Hey! Hey! Whattya say? This was made in the USA!"
