       @The_Whore_of_Blahbylon There's also a housing supply problem. Our population is growing, and average household size is shrinking. We aren't building nearly enough new housing to keep up.

       @The_Whore_of_Blahbylon Even in the eighties everything was easier. Once a year my insurance broker would find the best deal for car insurance, call me up and explain it, and take a small commission when I accepted. Now every year I have to do that and it's still more expensive than when I was a young male driver.
