       @ghostmeet @c_reider @emenel @sean_ae in the netherlands ISPs usually dont care that much unless you seed (as thats literally sharing) but i still know quite a lot about ways to hide p2p/bittorrent traffic (or even censorship bypassing) as i come from a very... weird country and had to use that stuff A LOT in the past - more people should use VPNs tbh

       @ghostmeet @c_reider @emenel @sean_ae fucking insane tbh. also yeah, that way to catch ppl is very famous. still, VPNs dont always help, you still need to mask the traffic as ISPs may use DPI/other ways to see that you are doing P2P thru a VPN connection and still send you a fine assuming that you pirated something (even if you just downloaded a linux ISO, lol. i legit saw one case of that in germany!)
