@silvermoats I mean tbf we were influenced a lot by Mantronik and he would often sample his own hardware (eg he was the first person I heard sampling his 808), we were just pushing that a bit further

@sean_ae @silvermoats lovely + nice to see cylob doing those vids :) i wonder if i can implement smth similar on an amiga in realtime (albeit at a low samplerate? or even at 20k as my setup is powerful enough..) - i know there are some very old software effects for guitars on amiga that can be used thru a sampler in realtime. i do that manually most of the time and just use oneshots as samples on 4 different channels / add a delay on top to make it sound even more "fat"

@sean_ae @stevone yeah didnt leak for sure - the only stills from it i know of is that article and incunabula micro imagesand that kinda reminds me of afx ab4 cover image - its from a VHS aswell, on ab4 its moshed and there's actually a diff photo of it in color and its actually just a photo of richard lolstills from that daniel 72 vid / sweatbox / that lego feet photo are literally the only photos / vids of ya both from that era - also one studio photo from 1993(?)

@silvermoats @sean_ae yeah, thru so called sampling cards (or samplers for short, which may be confusing) connected to the parallel port :)also yep, even thinking about doing it later, sounds like a very nice project at least as some sort of experiment - if works well enuff i may actually combine 2 of my amigas and use one just as dsp unit and the second one as sequencer+sampler in a few trax just for fun (in fact, i have a lot of such weird plans so i will prob post some experiments later?..)

@silvermoats @sean_ae actually mostly depends on the cpu/amount of memory/videomode! so you can make it sound p good (not perfect. good.)but yeah, using an amiga as a part of pedalboard will be WILD to say the least - i wanna see someone legit doing that now

@silvermoats @sean_ae dont forget about the LED filter :p (amiga has a physical filter circuit that can be enabled and disabled in software) not ideal but may make it less rough without using CPU's resources for that
