       Situation: You're developing a codebase on Linux. The codebase contains a shell script called `./cobalt` and a directory called `./Cobalt/`Open the Linux directory as a smb share on a Windows machine.Suddenly the Cobalt directory is inaccessible.Realize, yet again, that Windows is absolute trash.

       @gardiner_bryant It also won't recognize several otherwise normal characters in filenames either.  While not super common, sometimes I'll include things like a colon ( : ) or a quotation mark ( " ), usually when I'm ripping a Bluray and those characters are in the title of the movie or show.  I use Samba shares to let my kids browse certain folders without write permissions on the server, and have noticed a few times those filenames will get totally scrambled.
