       @thelinuxEXP I wonder if the Mint team can't manage to fork the GNOME Calendar, etc. due to limited resources? Hence the current setup of using the outdated GNOME Calendar, etc.

       @thelinuxEXP @tlenewspodcast The GNOME devs could require a version field in their bug reporting system and automatically close all reports filed for outdated, unsupported software versions.
