       @The_Whore_of_Blahbylon most of the 30 US oil companies signed agreements when the Vz industry was "nationalized"...which was the Vz govt _buying_ controlling stakes. 3 held out via international arbitration and settled. 1 didn't. That lone holdout was eventually acquired by Chevron, who now claim some ridiculous harm that they could've avoided. Pure imperial greed.
