i wonder if this means just career fan botting or if they're also going to go after tools like logs (which technically just tells you the game mechanics, but it makes you learn them a lot easier when you actually see the numbers for like stamina fatigue and target speeds and final spurt lol)

@Poe I think career botting for fans and parent sparks was unfair as well but yeah logs would be cool if they were permittedI never used them myself but I've been shown sims and statlines etc from themit's really hard to know what works by heart without tools, I still only follow guides and what people tell me

@rez So I've gotten a few SS racers in the past (really want to reach SS+ or an UG...), but this week I've been testing out some different strategies to hopefully get more consistent.1. I run 36-38 races now, always The plan is 38 and a few are skippable for really good training. I do three races in a row several times, not avoiding 3 in a row anymore. It makes your overall statline better, and earns you more coins. The downside is making full friends with some supports can be difficult with bad rng, fine motion can just avoid you and that sucks.2. I try not overspending in shops. Max 1 saved up cupcake, and don't buy more than 2 same training braces.3. I use items whenever I can, even a random good rainbow training = I use a megaphone and training brace for it4. Cleat hammers are good. Not necessarily for stats (it's just like 5 stats per hammer) but they let you get more skill points as well.Then here's the part I'm not sure about but it's worked so far:- I changed my support deck to be 2 guts, 3 wit and kitasan. This is good for gold city since she has high guts and power growth, but my guts and power on other racers with this setup were lower. I've never been able to get this much wits before though, so it's a tradeoff. (Plus, nice nature wit gives "on your left", which is the most universal late surger skill)- I buy 1-2 good acceleration skills early. I used to either buy all skills or save save save. With a decent statline you can do with just the one or two skills, but they really make the run more consistent. On your left or pump some iron on surgers, frontrunners take angling or like early lead or escape artist.I'm attaching the schedule this gold city did -- big sidenote is that if you have a sprint or dirt aptitude, you can replace some of the G2/G3s with better G1s. Also, my current strategy does not provide much stamina.

@rez the 3 race groups tend to be:- junior year into hopeful stakes. you can't get the race fatigue event after late december (so it's safe)- late october to november. it's three G1s in a row both classic and senior year. you usually can have a cupcake and skin troubles cure by then- I like to run arima kinen and then two G2/G3s. don't see it in example schedules a ton but works for me- may and june can be pushed too, depending on aptitudes. I tend to rest between the races there to have enough energy for summer camp, but it's four G1s in a rowif you don't have kitasan and fine motion, you might just want to take the highest race bonus cards you own. marvelous sunday power was free in an event, so that SSR is often used just for the race bonus. mejiro dober wit has high race bonus as a wit card, and it was free too.a lot of SRs have 10 race bonus (most often shinko windy and admire vega, but there are others too), so you can check which ones you have and don't have. I like to borrow a 15% race bonus card since I have kitasan and finemo maxed, it might be better for you to borrow a kitasan just to make sure you can max out speed
