       if someone tells you to couple the CPU to the chassis to pull heat away from the CPU, don't. you will kill the battery faster. at the very least find a way to insulate the battery from the chassis, otherwise you're basically just hot boxing the battery and they don't like doing that.

       @Jes the real solution is to have a metal slug sitting on the SoC extending to the outside of the case so it can dissipate heat into the surroundingssee: Moto G3

       @izzy most modern phones the screen is the heatsync which is probably about as good as you can get since most people put a heat suffocating case on, meaning the only face open to air is the screen
