       @toast it’s actually a similar amount of capacity, batteries went a long way since 1998and yeah it had self discharge so high it’d go flat within a week, and i’m tired of resuscitating it with a bench power supply

       @drwho no clue! li-ions have different characteristics, but as long as you use one and the same type throughout a whole battery you should be fine. worst case your device won’t work because of the power draw (I got lucky here ^^)generally match the chemistry and see what fits in your enclosure
