couldn't find any teardown pics of the notoriously unrepairable (and unreplacable because the buds are locked to each case. you can charge with a replacement case but you can't pair with new bt devices!) bose quietcomfort gen1 earbuds charging case, so i opened my defective one

maybe the battery cell can be exchanged? very weird construction with soldered-and-glued-to pcb wires, and open wires for which i assume is thermistor? or pressure sensing? edit: 2 wire flex cable is thermistor, copper strands go to qi (?) charging coil which i didn't know it had
