       had to recently upgrade my masto.host tier because DB size is growing even with quite aggressive retention settings :blobcatnotlikethis:

       @steffo yeah, it got more expensive in general, but because of increased hosting prices with the hardware stuff going down that was expectedand being a catalyst for 1000s of instances, caches are massive and that hits DB size quite heavily.

       @steffo that said, masto.host is a cool service for people to get started with having their own instance and not having to worry about hosting it.service and support is superb too.
