       @rose @wyatt i use a perl script and makefile mostly stolen from vivienne corpsedoll that turns markdown to html with lowdown(1) it's working out fantastically

       @azureazure @rose @wyatt That makefile it shit garbage by the way. I have replaced it with another bespoke script that handles this kind of structure directly and otherwise works the same way as make as far as comparing file mod times

       @azureazure @rose @wyatt There was an iteration of this in the front branch of this repo that uses mk and rc instead of gnu make but i eventually found i was pushing mk too far, and shell scripts are shit garbage even if its rc, that's when I gave up
