       I mean yeah removing the headphone jack sucks, but there's things now like the Fiio Tiny that gives you the headphone jack and doesn't take away your charger, plus it would be better than any headphone jack you could possibly stick into a phone, from my experience the headphone jacks were often not that good, other than apple ironically enough, for some reason apple just seems allergic to putting bad headphone jacks in their products, and their apple headphone dongle is one of the best on the market still

       @Jes i wasn’t like, offended by the possibility of them having a modded switch, i don’t really care, i just thought it was funny that their mockup was either based off a modded console or wildly inaccurate to the real thing

       @wlrn one of my main problems is a lot of the headphone jacks aren't properly shielded from the charger, causing a whole bunch of buzzing on the in-line mic not a problem with the right adapter

       @wlrn the fiio tiny is also like a third of the size of my pinky, basically no room taken up in a pocket with a pair of headphones anyways

       @wlrn and a lot of the time the headphone jack was really weak, even some of my less sensitive earbuds it was just enough to be usable but not a whole lot of headroom for less sensitive headphones

       @wlrn I also used to have bose headphones that was VERY sensitive to this and any time you had an unclean audio source it would make a very noticable ground loop hum since it's amplified.

       @yassie_j as far as I can tell HTC never stopped making phones, they still manufacture the u24And yes it still has a notification LED and a headphone jack
