RE: https://fosstodon.org/@libreoffice/116925056530698757looks nice but I don't know if that means Impress is any more usable. I find Writer to be perfectly competent in most uses. Calc to be full of friction. I'm still baffled why table formatting doesn't seem to get the respect it should. Impress has never been useful for me. I mean it's there and everything just not useful. Esp with morph now it's rough doing fun five minute presentations without morph.RT: https://fosstodon.org/users/libreoffice/statuses/116925056530698757

@wolfkin Hi! Not sure why you're baffled that something doesn't happen – LibreOffice is a volunteer-driven, community project with extremely limited resources. If something isn't being worked on, it's not "baffling" – it's because the volunteers simply don't have the resources to implement every single request. More help is always welcome 😊 Thanks for understanding!

@libreoffice my beef with LibreOffice is small. I do like LibreOffice. I use it regularly and in some cases primarily, but I tried to explain to someone once that the feature I wanted most was tables and they were confused why anyone would want that. So I'm annoyed at that but I understand open source isn't a menu. Carry on the good works.
