       all the listings are from rescues run by karens with shit like- you must have a house with a yard- we reserve the right to inspect your house at any time- rehoming fee 1500$this is absurd, for many reasons, namely almost everyone in the Seattle metro lives in an apartment

       @TheOneDoc and like that's what I'm getting at: yes, a dog living in an apartment whose owner doesn't give a shit probably is having a pretty crappy lifebut that's one possible outcome.  another possible outcome is that the dog is constantly outdoors because the apartment is a means to an end.
