       The new Ghost in the Shell anime felt goofy as hell on the first episode. The tone does not work with the setting and thematic through line of that franchise whatsoever. Sucks, cuz I thought the art style took an interesting approach (well, some character design decisions I did not like, but I don't see that is equivalent to the art style as such).
