       🍻 That's true. Magic has been parading hard.I don't know about Flesh & Blood or Riftbound, myself, if you're trying to get into one. Have you lent an eye toward those, checked them out? Again, I don't know how they are.

       Mm, yeah. Doubtful to find any TCG--or hobby at all these days--that doesn't have "art" (propaganda, celebration) of bullshit.Giving these companies money sucks. If you get into the hobby though, you can always build decks using cards without that and enjoy when you beat someone's "thooper love yay hashtag not White" cards

       I really only play with paper in-person at my LGS. Sometimes on Arena (started out playing Magic at all there). Some new-to-me irl guys I recently met really like playing on tabletop simulator. How's cockatrice?

       Here's my experience:There are a few LGSs I go to--just depends on the week I might go. One is in a more rural area. I see blue collar guys with Confederate hats at some tables and trannies in kilts at other tables. Kind of like a high school cafeteria. Each to their own group.At another LGS, closer to the city, I go with irl friends and we don't let anyone sit with us anymore there--after too many weird additions.A third LGS is mainly yuppies. They're all guys, White, straight, but all reddit-tier minds. They laugh and talk about the game while we play the game. You don't have to hang out with them outside of the cardboard.Sometimes it is good to be around the foolish and nudge them toward questions, if you can be subtle and ambiguous. Let them realize "they" had a thought. Or just go there and play the game.:rofl:
