@dysfun oh, the model does not generate the ELF part, it just generates the raw bytecode stream. then an ELF header with a single PT_LOAD segment is bolted on the front. or a PE header or a Mach-O header.

@dascandy @dysfun yeah BFD does not know how to handle an ELF file with zero sections. you can't disassemble it with objdump either unless you explicitly tell it to start from offset 0x78 as raw binary.
