       @mos_8502 once they stop subsidizing it, I bet the suits will rapidly 180 to, at the very least, "if you wanna use AI to do your job you better pay for it out of your own paycheck", and with the new prices few will be willing to bother

       @mei @mos_8502 it's already happening; CTO of Uber and a few other places are essentially saying "whoops we're hiring people back because turns out LLMs cost more than the people they replace" and that's with current subsidized pricing
