@ariadne I doubt that you can do it any more meaningfully than just adding the relevant hashtags.For me it is more of a "pushing the needle" and "strengths in numbers" thing.The more of us that do it the better. No single person will change any dilusional CEOs opinion. But if they'd see thousands of different people all of a time shitting on it (without being unreasonable and by bringing receipts and examples) then it MAY.

once the explorations are complete: the next step is... code review.there are two key areas to investigate as part of the code review:1. the overall subjective code quality (my present expectations are low)2. whether there are any fragments that were reproduced with fidelity from its training corpus (my present expectations are high)

@whitequark @implr @ariadne yeah; i mean, in the case of "the kernel believes [whatever]" or "in this release, git learned how to [do thing]", those are examples of _metaphorical_ use of anthropomorphizing language, not _literal_ use.the trouble with the LLM industry is that too many people started interpreting longstanding metaphors as literal, the LLM executives fraudulently took advantage of that, and now many previously-reasonable people have cooked their brains (metaphorically speaking).
