       @tj Isn't that already the way it's done?  Isn't that the reason why nobody can settle on this for decades?  (ie, Hawaii and Arizona don't play this time zone dancing game twice a year, for example)No, sadly, it probably needs a national law to say that enough is enough.

       @Dan_Ramos don’t get my hopes up only to spend my remaining years changing clocks twice a year tricking humans into believing we are getting more sunlight.  Archaic stupidity, but we have always done so we will continue.  The best part, ask 10 people why we have daylight savings time and you will get 10 different answers.

       @tj Pretty sure that noon is supposed to ideally be the sun's apex in the -30/+30 for that time zone.  That's not along state lines, though.  What's weird is making it follow along state lines.That being said... I still agree with you on making them generally follow state lines.I know... ironic.. but people don't strictly timezone along with the sun anyway but it would help to make it state-wide for the logistics.
