       @rose @SRAZKVT Yeah, although linux definitely goes in the "too big to fork" (hence why I've more been thinking of fucking away to something else in a "[loop]I just need a kernel[/loop]" fashion)

       @lanodan @rose yea, i have no idea how to actually make a kernel, i would just run into a wall and lose my teeth. i'd learn a ton, and be able to wreck myself into walls more efficiently, but getting to something worth anything would take a while

       @lanodan @rose and existing kernels aren't great either bc those that are reasonably well documented are education projects which from my experience tend to put some architecture specifics or assumptions for simplicity
