       I wonder if a vampire's piss looks different cuz all they drink is blood.I'm assuming they can't drink water, or at least don't have to.And I'm assuming they piss at all.

       @UsagiTsukino Standard lore holds that they consume blood because it's a life source (since they're undead, they don't produce their own), so it may be considered that they fully digest it, I suppose. Or at least that none of it is wasted.

       @sand I don't have such a fetish. I'm musing about it from a less magical perspective.Even if it was processed magically, why do they have to keep drinking? Surely there must be some form of waste, else they would not have to keep feeding, even though they do so infrequently.

       @jalwelagi Especially considering that, though they feed, they do so infrequently. Most fiction regards them as doing so once a week/month, etc. Far less than our need to do so every day.Their metabolism is also very efficient, since they not only eat less, but do more with it, as they have superhuman physical capacities.

       @sand It's worth noting that many such aspects of vampire lore have been added on over time, and weren't part of the original legends.I don't know exactly which aspects were, though. But I imagine that version would be easier to consider scientifically than the modern version that's closer to a superhero with some quirks.

       @Paradox real life vampire bat kidneys have two modes. One for getting rid of water from blood right after they drank it so they can fly again. Another one is for filtering out metabolites of protein leading to a extremely thick urine
