       @e_mydata I'm sorry to disagree, but with the #Google Play Integrity Check, the US corporation has unfortunately found an effective way to render sideloading ineffective. The check takes place in the communication between the app and the server and therefore cannot be circumvented.I will take legal action against #Volkswagen for violating the #DSA (Data Protection Agreement). But doing that for every single app will be annoying.

       @e_mydataIt's actually open on all custom ROMs.It's the Google middle ware that might try to refuse to serve apps that are not signed with a key that is signed by Google. The problem is that this drastically lowers the number of devices that can run APK that have been signed by such free keys. And it obviously touches on topics like the DMA as Google is a gatekeeper here to Android.And I wonder if the GMS in a grapheneos sandbox can even check the app keys.
