       my iphone is slowly becoming unusable and i can't tell why. it's most likely due to the support being phased out, but it could also be the firefox "app" (safari in a trenchcoat) is just ill-maintained. i don't really use it for anything other than that or signal

       @lynn apple has been caught (and has lost in court over it…) degrading the experience of older devices with newer software updates, so could be a repeat of that

       @toast i mean to their credit it's a 6 or 7 year old phone that still operates perfectly fine for phone things and has never cracked or broken or anything. the firefox app just constantly crashes and bugs out, and after their 26 update things were sluggish for a bit until they fixed it
