       Screw it, I'm going cold turkey starting today. I don't know if it's wise after four nights of more than half a liter of hard liquor, but even if it killed me it would be extremely funny.        @grips Be on the lookout for the warning signs, the shakes. Preferably have someone (like your wife) nearby to monitor you. Delirium tremens actually causes you to uh be delirious & not be in a right state of mind at all (guy pushing random spots on the wall to try and "start the microwave"-tier stuff), so if you get to that point (which is life-threatening) -- well I don't think going cold turkey from that level of drinkery is a good idea at all. But don't do it alone.
