       You know, people complain about music journalism -- but what I notice is, no one *reads the music stories*. So literally, we have music artists judging music journalism based on whether it's writing about them specifically? Shouldn't we all actually take some pleasure in reading about music other than our own? To me it gets you out of your head. It's actually why I really enjoy writing about and playing other people's music.This feels like a culture that we could actually change.

       @pkirn I am interested in other people’s music, but get tired when told someone has founded a new style called Jigglypoop which mashes several older styles of Kitschbash and Fermentationcore that makes them an innovator akin to Leonardo etc. etc.When tools and practices are described there’s more room for a reader to imagine how they might take part or better - oppose it.I guess it’s a difference between Art and Craft - the latter is more involving. #music #musicproduction
