       ngl after spotting that diagonal rail resource pack for minecraft im SO PISSED that notch made that texture a curve instead of a diagonal because it looks so much better AND it lets me make diagonal railways AND it more accurately tracks the path of the minecart

       @fiore im also bringing back the black villagers. while basing the variants purely based on biome type is somewhat insensitive not having black villagers at all is more insensitive. also anna kinda wanted them back too iirc

       @coolbean @fiore did they add black villagers based on biome type?that seems like the worst way to go about it, the main reason i can think of for not having black villagers other than entropy is that players Frequently Enslave The Villagers why would they choose the method of adding black villagers that also lets them larp Raiding Foreign Lands For Slaves

       @fiore @haematophage ideally you'd use texture variants to make each population more diverse to make the transition very gradual but i still think its better than exclusively having white villagers
