@GrungeQueef @Evil_Bender @sapphire V6 + turbo is a terrible combination to begin with. add to that extremely thin oils and variable speed oil pumps and this is the resultnot to say it's impossible to make a turbo V6 that doesn't eat bearings like candy but it's a lot harder than with other layouts. should've done an I6

like 20mpg on a trip, 15mpg regular average. It was a $30k engine upgrade for fuel thats double in price wirh nodern egr systems. im cummins certified and i went gas.

no, but the service interval is much shorter than companies want to do. what kills them is idle time. show me a truck having endless emissions issues and ill show you the idle hour meter.
