       @mntmn I'll be curious to find out if typst's HTML output is working well yet. But even if you can only (or only want to) generate a PDF version, typst will at least generate a tagged PDF document, so it should be accessible with a screen reader.

       @matt good point. the PDF output looked better than the scribus stuff at first glance, it immediately had an outline etc

       @mntmn I converted one (and a half?) of my courses from LaTeX to Typst over this most recent semester, and ... I like it.  It has some annoying rusty syntax and the modern ecosystem version shear problems (oh you need a newer foolib, but it doesn't work with the barlib you're using, and ...) in places, and the type system leaves something to be desired (text blocks, code blocks, strings, numbers, and that's about it), but it's way better than LaTeX for scripting and it's programmable.
