       @pomagarnet @famfo idk i’ve been using ext4 in a plethora of normal and weird deployments over the course of a decade, and i’ve had data corruption once, and even that I managed to recover with a hex editor and some creative guesses

       @pomagarnet @elly @famfo i’ve had problems with btrfs before! it got better, but it sure as hell isn’t as easy to manage / easy to unfuck as ext4

       @famfo @elly @pomagarnet okay now that i look at it. i think i’ve had some similar behavior once with a bad physical nvme connection (i.e. i mounted the fucker with tape and the tape gave up) - it’s a bit far-fetched, but I’m assuming you’ve tried reseating it before?

       @famfo @domi @pomagarnet you'd be surprised how sensitive M.2 sockets can be, even dust can cause issues
