Oh, this so Not Cool in every sense of the term.I'm in France. @mirabilos We're getting it first š¬35C up from Tuesday, much worse by the coast and for @moonrabbit Then *slightly* cooler by weekend when it moves across Europe over to you.This seems to be the new pattern šThe drought is not getting the same attention as the heat. The grass died (no hay / winter feed).Crops damaged by heat, water restrictions. Trees really stressed and dropping leaves. This will have consequences on food production and nature

The wind briefly changes to blow from the South for 3 days.(It needs to be South West to blow the massive ones up from Spain)That *used to be* the most common wind direction. Regular storms all summer.Now it's always from the North.Between then and now, garden is toast š«¤

@herissonrose @moonrabbit @leafygreens yes!We took Malikšāā¬ off the literal streets on the day for whose evening/night -14Ā°C was predicted.He may have frozen. He now is cuddly-ish (with me, at least). He will never be as comfortable deep-snuggling as Äarašāā¬ is, but thatās okay.It so makes an 100% difference to him, even if itās 0.01% or what of the whole stray cat population.
