I believe she is damaged and not intelligent enough to reflect and improve herself.again, this is normal female behavior >She’s in denial that my presence wasn’t the reason she was able to grow these past 10 months.This is where we get to the crux of the actual issue: you're not the only guiding voice in her life, nor are you the one that's the most there. More on that later>I got tired of fighting against imaginary nebulous reasons she came up with for things to fail and told her that I can’t just argue anymore with her gut feelings she can’t articulate. She constantly projected her insecurities and fears onto me and what I may do. I walked out when she told me she doesn’t think she can love me how I love her. I wasn’t going to be taken for granted or treated like that. To put it all succinctly. I think the IQ gap was too large and she can’t overcome being a bit dim.Women complain. Its what they do. Its what they're hard wired to do. They point it out, you triage, file and fix the issue. Pet zoomer has something to say every day and I listen, I file it, and I decide whether its worth paying attention to or fixing. The problem comes when you start sending her to different places that "fix" her issues. Women don't know how to fix shit, if they did they wouldn't ask you to do it for them. When you send her off to her shitty email job where she gets validations and "you go girls" when she does toxic shit, when you send her to therapy which is designed to make her feel good and keep her coming back to therapy, you let this malformation into your life as well, as you've experiencedYou can fix this girl, you can fix this relationship too and honestly you've created a great opportunity to do so. She needs to stop going to work, and she needs to stop seeing her therapist, she needs to learn from you that you are her guiding light, that you aren't going to steer her wrong like her last man, and that everything she does in her life has some meaning, unlike at work. You've got nothing to lose right now, you've already written her off as unfixable. Tell her you're willing to give her another chance but you guys need a solid roadmap (that you tell her and that she follows) for getting her out of the workplace and into your care. As long as you don't fuck around on her or treat her badly or otherwise prove yourself a poor man to follow, she'll follow you to the grave. Its when she starts getting that malformed guidance from outside that shit like you're seeing starts happening. You see her for 8 hours a week or whatever, her job sees her for 40 and her therapist is in a power position, and then the next time you see her she's got another 40+ hours of counterprogramming pushed on her and yes, you'll have to restart because you've only got a few hours in the week where she's listening to you.
