       I'm sure a lot of you have seen that Sony has decided to discontinue using Blu-ray discs for games in 2028. I think this is happening for a few reasons:1. AAA games are getting so big that they don't fit on even a multi-layer Blu-ray disc2. The numbers don't lie, the people buy digitally vs discs is apparently an 80/20 split, digital to disc3. Sony in all probability wants to wind down producing the Blu-ray disc format in general for both movies and video games.

       @lmull3 I honestly didn't know video games on Blu-ray discs were even a thing. Last I heard, many "physical copies" of video games were just a small installer program and the bulk of the game code was downloaded.
