       I tried going back to my hometown in Georgia for three years after Covid. Was a branch operation manager for a large security company. Only made $15 an hour because it was twice minimum wage there $7. My rent was still $1200

       Well for me there's like three things happening at once; I'm still trying to settle into my new home that I absolutely love this neighborhood, I need stable income to buy furniture/ household items, I need to get out of security if I'm not working administration, and I need to leave this state forever, but I need a job/ skill set to transfer to another state, plus savings to move again.

       It's a majority White mountain town far away from the cities, so everyone commutes to work, but the wages in this small town are too low to afford to live here. I would gladly work as a cashier if I could afford to.

       Also going back to my other point about escaping this state, if I made $25 an hour I would be fine, but they keep increasing the minimum wage in the cities. So it's $22 an hour, going up to $25 an hour next year. But outside the cities, minimum wage is $15. Security not in Tacoma or Seattle pays like $17-18 , where the cities pay $20-24 on average .

       Oh also armed security pays more, but it's almost to the point where I should drive a 4 hour daily commute to work at Taco Bell on the outskirts of the city limits to make $25
