       Seeing how @stux is having a crusade against AI bots, just a small advise maybe to some instance moderators/admins about things to consider:1) no invites (we turned our invites off long ago as they are the easiest way for malicious bots and spammers to get through)2) instance registration per approval (it creates more work for the human operators, but it’s more safe than letting dozens of bots roam free)3) tied to the one above - automated registration cancellation - make a script or a bot that would have an X variable for registering (we have a minimum of five words sentence for our instance) that will decline a registration request if not met4) trust your fellow humans - there is always someone, who will help you, volunteer to support your cause5) set your instance rules and goals straight  - make it clear for registering people what you support and what notThank you for your attention and reminder - all above is just advice and IMHO. Everyone is free to act as they see fit.
