       @ariadne politicians respond to incentives. They currently think bidding for incredibly expensive sports events or team franchises will buy them votes, even if all the profits will be sucked up by incredibly corrupt organizations like FIFA. If a recall campaign were immediately initiated, they'd change their tune.
