@Velveteen @monkey @xyla I can get not wanting AC for being expensive, it's the most expensive part of an electrical bill,. But at the same time, I've seen people who can't have AC due to their living situation and cultural norms go through a heat stroke in their own house and couldn't purchase an AC unit. Not having AC where I live is considered cruel, landlords have been successfully sued for telling tenants to take window units out of their window because of looks.
