       @bram Old favorite: Fedora, but then they explicitly allowed slop contributions Currently using OpenSUSE, but I'm having weird bugs switching between users via KDE so I'm looking to change Want to try: OpenMandrivia: The Mandrake Linux lineage seems to have some cool stuff in it, Mageia was cool to try on my laptop, but I'd like something with more regular updates so I'm trying other Mandrake-descended distributions

       @Canageek @bram ohh thats very cool, OpenMandriva. Mandriva was my first daily driver Linux back in, uhh. 2010? I thought it disappeared

       @piggo @bram It did, but a group of nerds have apparently brought it back. A lot of distributions are based off it apparently: Mageia, PClinuxOS, OpenMandrivia and othersIt's hard to track, because the Wikipedia family trees make no sense, someone has borked them to the point that some of them list Mandrake as a descendant of Mandrevia and other such sillyness
