       i hate how music gets treated as disposable compared to other mediums. sure, a lot of it is just stuff you’d put on in the background, but if done right, it can also be an effective way to tell stories. just as much as movies, TV, and video games

       and just like all other mediums, to get to the good stuff, you have to dive deep into the underground, the alternative, the (fully) independent. find those who do it for the love of the game. everything that gets pushed to the top is made by corpos who only care about the money
