       i will make one change to my views on technologylossless webp is pretty good (better compression ratio)lossy webp is the work of the devil, a power grab by cdn networks to double-compress images to save bandwidth at the experience of image quality to the userguess which one discord and wikia fandom and bsky uses

       @solonovamax i still think lossy and lossless codecs should not share an extension, but both webp and jxl refused to do so
