       thinking about getting a dog... does anyone here have any suggestions for where to find a lab or a goldie?I would love to have another catahoula, but those aren't really a thing in the PNW...

       @ariadne My first dog (as an alleged adult) was a lab mix from a shelter. I don't know much about the shelters in your area, but it might be worth checking. Puppies go quickly, but sometimes you luck out. Of course if you want an adult dog then you already are thinking about shelters, probably.
