       recently i coded a line editor for the keyboard/oled in pocket reform, and a cli for the system controller, and it turned out very useful for switching usb port muxes/functions and now for manually sending usb-c pd vdms 🙃

       my dell monitor at home does respond to the VDMs, which is nice. the dell monitor at work doesn't wait for me but instead initiates alt mode discovery, which is extra nice. but i had zero luck yet with the usb-c to displayport cable from amazon or the club3d 7-in-1 hub.
