       it's so silly that every SaaS app has now pivoted to "the XZY platform for developers *and agents*" or "the best XYZ platform *for AI*". if everyone does that it's not a differentiator, if you really need that crap you can put it in a checkmark in your feature table...

       @mntmn if advertising AI features drives normal customers away, these businesses will all go balls-up as well when the bubble pops, because agents become prohibitively expensive and they don't have any normal customers left.

       @mntmn yeah, I'm seeing companies do stuff that doesn't even make sense from a business perspective. Unless their aim is to not seem like they fell behind by omission? Even when individuals try to make a bandwagon part of their personal branding. I think the last thing any person or product would want to do is to be perceived as just a wrapper around a popular AI product.

       @lritter @dotstdy yeah it depends on how kaput the rest of the industry goes... a bunch of stuff will survive, i recently checked and was surprised that like 40% (?) of dotcoms survived the crash

       @mntmn @dotstdy what can i say we're suckers for dramatic end-of-the-world narratives :P but 60% overhead getting culled is still impressive. think i'm well set up as well. unless google goes ... i really should do that GDPR backup.
