       enlightening write-up from @davidrevoy on the difficulty of choosing a linux distro. though aimed at an audience of fellow artists, the post hits all the nails on the head. and they all bend. i personally felt annoyed that wayland was forced on me without care for breakage, but it's so much worse for digital artists. especially those with a conscience like david. my vmware with no clipboard and slack-that-works-only-from-pwned-aur are nothing compared to what artists must enduretl;dr : debian testing : janky ; kubuntu / ubuntu : snap, slop ; fedora : rolling instability, slop ; kde linux : immutable but janky, all apps must be flatpakhttps://www.davidrevoy.com/article1145/interim-install-guide-kde-neon-user-edition-for-a-professional-digital-painter-workstation
