       @gamingonlinux the godot engine shoutout here is perfect, thank youI can’t say I’m terribly surprised by unreal going full slop, but it’s still kind of incredible seeing them go from “the serious engine for serious games” to uhhh “you can slop out your branded crap straight to fortnite now”

       @gamingonlinux I can only hope they miscalculated and burn to ash. I mean, sure it's probably lucrative to sell out ones creative abilities to Fortnite, although if everyone can do it, why should I? And if anyone can just use AI instead of learned skills - and if people at some point just don't care if it's either - why would I wanna touch any of this whole garbage patch with a ten foot pole?Let's hope the Godot Foundation is never doing a Mozilla on their Engine.
