       Spielberg’s latest Alien Jesus saga ‘Disclosure Day’ is a feeble hodgepodge of evil scientists, pointless car chases and underground bases. It’s like he directed Schindlers List in the style of ET. The music is bought off the shelf epic orchestration. The last half hour and stupid surprise ending could easily be chopped off for a far better result. You just ask yourself WTF. #movies

       @lardmotel Close encounters was a good movie. The thing is though aliens are not a Disneyland I think. If you run into them they are probably pissed off or you did something unusual. I ran into some UFOs back around 1996, and I honestly can't say what the message was, and it was potentially not great.  It is a commonly understood problem the universe will run out of gas at some point. Your only hope would be some unknown exit plan, or the longer you stay the harder you are making it.

       @ddarc It would be nice to think that there were aliens flying around taking picnics on Earth and all that. But none of this is possible - the distances are too vast - even at the speed of light it will take too long to get here and beam up cows or whatever the memes might be at the moment. There could be life but it's far far away.

       @lardmotel That is a legitimate issue, but I expect there is a way around it. Also another thing is it is possible they sent something here slowly roboticaly, and it basically beams shit into people's heads like they are are really here. It isn't totally impossible. Like I say until something is having a lot of change in your life you can't say it is real. I was approached by a silver figure once and like a utility craft threatened to ram/grab me with arms.
