       however we already say words like queer or quest and accept it’s pronounced just like a k with no issue despite some people complaining about words like bouquet or coquette

       @twinkle but in these context is specifically "qu" that's pronounced as "kw".(And also I think many of these words are borrowed from Latin ultimately? While others, such as queen or quick, used to be written with kw (and before that, cw)).While it's not pronounced as "kw" in  bouquet or coquette.
