       @gamingonlinux it honestly makes me so sad. I learned tons on the open web as an under 16. We could have fixed this in so many better ways. But instead we will scorch the earth and track and log everyone instead of just forcing these companies to have better moderation and kick addictive features. Once the “show me your id” in Canada starts I won’t be using that website or service any longer. Fuck every regressive hack who is behind this.

       @gamingonlinux I’d imagine something like this will eventually show up in the US as well sooner or later. Anything you can attach “think of the children “ to here will almost assuredly get bipartisan support and be crammed into law ASAP. Especially if it also means opportunities to increase public surveillance.
